I am a woman with a visual impairment. I was recently laid off from my job at the Hospital. I was their scheluder/secretary. I answered phones. I greeted patients. I took care of booking appointments.
Being a receptionist for two other clinics I did a lot of problem solving. I did general office work. I’m a people person. I am not on disability.

I can do just about everything anyone else can do, I am currently going to school trying to get a degree in Computer Information and Science because it is difficult for me to get a regular job. I am a tree trimmer and I still climb trees with a spinal cord injury three neck surgeries. I have had to overcome, adapt, and rearrange the way I do things but I may be better for this.

I can pick up trash where ever it is and put it in the trashcan. I can mentor little kid who are failing in school. I can work at my local library doing whatever they need done.

I am a people person who loves to help others. I do have a traumatic brain injury, but I try not to let that hold me back. I am a successful person who is looking for an entry level position. Maintain properties, fix most anything from computers to carpentry, prepare Powerpoint presentations, and have an entire office setup from home so I can produce most anything from there. Have worked in Human Resources before, matching skill sets of clients to meaningful work. I have a wide range of capabilities with but a few limitations, all I want to do is some challenging work!

I have the unique ability to have the perspective of a patient/client AND as a (Master’s level) professional; assisting people with disabilities to successfully return to work and guide survivors and their loved ones to the many, helpful and available community resources.

I am hard of hearing. My sweet dream of working in a child day care center has vanished because no one wants to hire a person who cannot pronounce some words correctly. I am a teacher assistant and have 5 years experience in a retail store helping customers, changing displays, and organizing stock.

I can fix anything electrical from houses, computers, to large equipment that uses computer-based programming.
