What Can YOU Do? Posters
Designed to illustrate the campaign’s theme, the CDE’s “What can YOU do?” Poster Series features seven posters that individuals and organizations can either download or order by mail. Each poster targets a different audience and features a compelling image and message about disability and employment. Organizations can use the posters to freshen-up workplace bulletin boards, schools, training centers, places of worship and more.
“I Can” PSA Discussion Guides: Fostering CAN-Do Attitudes
Millions of people across the country have experienced “I Can,” an award-winning PSA that has run in hundreds of television and radio markets nationwide. As companion pieces to this powerful video, the CDE developed two booklets designed to guide discussions about disability employment attitudes. The Youth Discussion Guide helps users start a conversation among youth, with and without disabilities, about the importance of focusing on ability and talent; not making assumptions about what people can and can’t do; and setting goals for employment. The Workplace Discussion Guide helps employers and Human Resource professionals facilitate discussion about flexible and inclusive workplaces. Each discussion guide order includes a “What can YOU do?” poster and a DVD of the “I Can” PSA – a perfect package for starting insightful group conversations.
The CDE’s online Campaign Toolkits are a central resource for accessing these and other educational materials related to the “What can YOU do?” effort. In addition to fulfilling poster and PSA discussion guide orders, it allows users to:
